I wasn't too impressed by this page. everything on it is on other pages about the ring as well, and it really stresses the "exactly 3 weeks after insertion" removal, which is actually inaccurate. leaving in the ring for up to 4 weeks does not compromise protection as long as you do not leave it in longer than 4 weeks and do not leave it OUT longer than one week, though to be safe if you have it in more than 3 it would be a good idea to put a new one in immediately instead of waiting a week. This is covered in the prescribing info and in other sources.
