This is a great handout from the McKinley Health Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I assume it's what they hand out to students who want to use diaphragms. The handout is more of a "frequently asked questions" about the diaphragm. Not only does it address toxic shock syndrome and the diaphragm, but it also discusses how the diaphragm works, and more.
